I'm a day late on my Pieces post this week, but it's all good!  Sometimes, real life just gets in the way of other things we like to enjoy, and there is no need to stress out about deadlines that we set ourselves.  I hope you are all having a fabulous, and less busy than I am, week!

I distinctly remember buying the outfit I'm wearing by coldLogic; I picked it up simply because I liked the colors.  I honestly don't think I have ever worn it before.  There are probably way too many outfits scattered around my inventory that have gotten there the same exact way.  But, that is part of what this cleaning journey is all about... organization and rediscovering loved items lost in my huge item count.  Like all coldLogic pieces, both the top and the capris come in standard sizes, and free demos are available.

The necklace I'm wearing is a piece by Izzie's which I had completely forgotten about as well.  Big chunky pieces are not something I typically like wearing in my real life; I definitely prefer smaller jewelry that doesn't attract a lot of attention.  But, part of the beauty of Second Life is that I can wear things that I think are beautiful but don't have the confidence to wear in my real life!  The necklace is available in sixteen colors which can be purchased individually or as a fatpack.

Sally Has Seashells

I'm really in the mood for warmer weather to be here today with this recent design by Siss Boom! Sally Has Seashells is a cute minidress with sculpted features which include the skirt and the belt. The poses I used for this post are brand new by aDORKable Poses. I really love the poses by this designer because of her uniqueness and her inclusion of mirror poses. It can be extremely annoying to find the perfect pose for a picture but in the opposite direction of what you need it to be! You never have to worry about that with aDORKable poses because mirror poses are included in all of the packs! Photo 1 features a pose from the Bag Lady II pack available at the main store location, and Photo 2 features a pose from the Legs pack available at the Festival of Sin.

Hello, April

It’s so entirely crazy how real life can become so completely crazy so quick! I have had very little time over the past view weeks to spend on Second Life; which of course in turn cut down on the posts I could make. Great news though… I found my perfect wedding dress! Now just to finally decide on where my wonderful fiancé and I will be getting married! Haha

A couple weeks ago JANE released an absolutely adorable spring line. I have been wearing the same outfit for the past week or so in the hope that I would get time to photograph and post. I had only been logging in for a few minutes in the morning and a few minutes in the evening to get notecards and group announcements and then back off to real life I went. I did finally get to photograph the adorable Chloe Denim Mini and the Chase Sweater. The sculpt for the skirt is absolutely adorable and the texture is amazing; the skirt is shaped with a bit of a wave in it so it looks more natural. The Chase Sweater contains prim pieces for the arms, collar and sweater bottom; just like the skirt, the sweater also contains an amazing realistic but still artistic texture. Chloe Denim Mini is available for L$110 and Chase Sweater is available for L$100 only at JANE!

What better to go with an adorable spring outfit than a Purrfect pair of shoes! Last week Purrfect 10 released their new line of shoes titled Gemini. These sexy heels feature a beautiful strap around the ankle with zippers up the back of the ankle as well as on the strap on the front of the shoe. As with all Purrfect 10 purchase, any shoe can be retextured to black. Skin colors for the sculpted shoes are controlled through RGB values. The shoes also contain options for sound, nail color, metal color, resizing, and walking. Purrfect 10 shoes no longer contain options for invisiprims; however, most Second Life viewers now allow users to use the alpha option which eliminates the need for invisiprims. It's On Sale!

After a short break, the It’s On Sale event is back! Items for this sale are placed out for customers for a one week period. Today is the last day of the sale for the items I am featuring today. Nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh? Lol A lack of time and an annoying illness prevented me from posting these sooner, but luckily you do still have a few hours to snag these goodies before they are gone.

If I had a time machine, one of the first eras I would love to visit would be the 1920s. I love the fashion from this time period and the general respect everyone gave to each other. Unfortunately, I don’t own a Delorean with a flux capacitor, but I do have Second Life which allows users to recreate and visit any time period. Cillan’gel’s Fashion Designs has set out an adorable flapper dress for It’s On Sale at only L$64. Cil No 1 features a low cut scoop neck, two flexi attachments and an adorable headpiece. I really love the textures featured on this dress; sparkle and shine always catches my eye!

I love an outfit which mixes casual with dressy. London by DEKA features beautiful knee length shorts, a shirt with attached cuffs and collar and a separate layered vest. The shirt and vest can be worn together or separately which gives variety with this outfit. The colors are absolutely beautiful together; black gives a strong mood while the light blue makes the outfit also soft and approachable. Pair this outfit with heels for a working girl look or flats for a day in the park! At only L$75, this outfit is a definite must.

Last, but certainly not least, ONE Fashion Design has an adorable dress out that will take you back to the late 60s. DQ Retro Stripes includes a flexi skirt, a belt and a sculpted collar. The design is adorable; black and white are always a classy combination and a staple of any wardrobe. Pair this design with a knee high boots to give a very retro look or a pair of heels for a more dressy/casual look; a pair of flats would also go beautifully with this design to give it a completely casual, picnic in the park look. Until midnight SLT, this dress will be available for the It’s On Sale price of L$100.

Femininity

Femininity. That is what I thought of when I first saw the new release from Siss Boom yesterday. Light a Candle features a soft, elegant texture with beautifully layered ruffles. Sculpted attachments are included for the arms, the spine (neck piece) and the pelvis. A flexi skirt is also included as an under layer to the short, ruffled skirt. This gorgeous dress is available at Siss Boom for the introductory price of L$100 which is sure to not last long. Go pick it up before new specials are released and the price goes up!

Cover Me

I suppose this is just the week for beautiful skin releases! Gum by JeSyLiLo was technically released about two weeks ago, but it’s still new to me! I absolutely love the lips on this skin; they are very glossy, and I love glossy! This skin also features soft makeup tones while still adding a nice splash of color to your ava. All of the options included with this skin are amazing! With each skin, you will receive options for eyeliner/no eyeliner, matte/shiny, small breasts/large breasts, and hairbase/no hairbase. This skin is available in light, tan and dark versions. Individual makeups are available for L$1200 each and fatpacks are available for L$4500.

The dress I am wearing, titled As One, is a new release from Siss Boom. This beautiful dress is so delicate and screams femininity! The dress features both a jacket and shirt layer; the jacket layer is short (about midriff) while the shirt layer extends down to the lower waist. The skirt in this outfit is sculpted. It's Beginning to Feel a Lot Like Christmas

The new Christmas skin released by JeSyLilo last week is stunning to say the least. I particularly love the eye shadows; the designer has added just the right amount of sparkle without going completely overboard. The skin is offered in three tones (light, tan and dark) and five different makeup choices at L$1200 each or L$4500 for the fatpack. Each makeup has options for freckles/no freckles, small breasts/large breasts, matte/shiny and hairbase/no hairbase. Also, JeSyLiLo has placed several free items (including eight skins!) out for the Christmas season.

Delirium Aquarellist

I am wearing a mixture of designers today. My amazing jeans are a new design from Miseria, titled Delirium. The prim bottom blends beautifully with the pant portion of the jean, and I absolutely love the faded, worn look at the top of the pants. My shirt and shoes are both from Ingenue. The sweater, titled Aquarellist, is only available at the LE.LOOK! location of Ingenue. The shoes, titled Clara, are available at Ingenue's main store in a gatcha machine.

Sway's Winter

New winter items have arrived at Sway's just in time for the beginning of snow season! I have never been able to knit in real life, but now I can in my Second Life! Sway's released an adorable rocking chair (12 prims), titled Emma, with a yarn basket (11 prims) and wearable knitting needles. The rocking chair features four poses, one animation and ten color options for the cushion. Color change options are also available in the knitting pattern attached to the wearable knitting needles. This set is a perfect addition to make your home feel warm and cozy!

Sway's also released warm clothing items! The Renata sweater is available in five colors, each having a different winter themed design on the front. This sweater also features a beautifully sculpted collar along with cuffs for the sleeves. The Stella Hoody is a stripped sweater with an attached hood and sculpted cuffs. This adorable top is available in ten different colors.

A Winter Accessories set (hat, mittens and scarf) has also been released! This set is perfect for both male and female. The items are copy/modify, which easily allows you to adjust the size of the items to fit your avatar. Eight color options are available with this set.

I always get excited when Lamb and Clawtooth are included on the Stumblebum Brigade list! Lamb is offering her Egomaniacal hair in honeycomb with Dandelion shades in bleak for L$225. Fifty Linden Friday

There were a lot of great designs out today for Fifty Linden Friday, but unfortunately most did not match my personal style. I did, however, find some great poses, an adorable dress and some awesome shades! Eight poses are included in the Belly Dance set by Exposeur. Another pose set is also available for customers @ L$50. The Lula Dress by Tiny Bird includes a color change script for the ribbon with nine color options. The Stud Muffin Shades by PIDIDDLE come in sets of two: Blue/Pink and Gold/Silver.

Fifty Linden Friday

It's Friday once again, which means that a group of fabulous Second Life designers has a special item out for only L$50! This week, I picked up products from two of my favorite designers, fri.day and Clawtooth, and two newly discovered designers to me, Doppelganger Inc. and Long Awkward Pose. fri.day has their Melody Halter in Spice and Poet Halter in Sea out; you get both adorable halters for L$50! Clawtooth is offering Twinkle Toast in two colors, Soil and Blinding (Exclusive Color); you also get both of these for L$50! Doppelganger Inc. had an adorable summer dress out titled Lana; it is a very pretty blue color with white polka dots. Long Awkward Pose didn't have a specific set of poses out; however, they are having a L$50 sale. You did have to look around, and I found two adorable sets titled Swimsuit and Bad Bish.

Hunt for the Cure

The generosity of Second Life content creators never ceases to amaze me. So many are willing to create products to sell for charity. One of the biggest charity events on Second Life is that for Relay for Life, an organization dedicated to the battle against cancer. Hunt for the Cure began last Saturday, June 26 and will run through Sunday, July 4. Over fifty designers are participating in the event; each designer has hidden at least one small RFL vendor with a ribbon in their store. To receive the prize, residents must make a small donation of L$10 or L$25. I am highlighting the gifts by Lemania Indigo Designs. She has placed six vendors in her store; each vendor contains a textured, long sleeve shirt with a 'fight against cancer' theme. Lemania's vendors require a donation of L$10. All money raised will be donated to Relay for Life.

Stumblebum Hair

I was a little disappointed in the Stumblebum Brigade specials this morning. Quite a few designers didn't even have their specials out yet! Yes, it is only the first day in the week long event, but my time is very valuable to me. I don't want to revisit stores several times just to see if they have set out their specials. However, I'm setting the frustration aside and enjoying the great hair I did find. You can always guarantee quality when Lamb and Clawtooth are included on the list! Lamb set out two of her hairs, Breeze and Say, in an exclusive honeycomb color that I absolutely love for L$150. Clawtooth included The Morning After with Bangs in four colors, deep sunset, girl next door, snow and strawberry cream, for L$195. These specials will be out until Friday, July 2.
