On the Move

I was not very happy when I logged into Second Life yesterday only to discover that the SIM I lived on was being done away with and that I needed to immediately move. I would have appreciated just a little bit of notice so that I could be searching for somewhere to relocate to. It also saddened me because the island was so green and pretty. Thankfully, it only took me about thirty minutes to find a suitable replacement that was green with very little lag. I love an ocean view both in real life and second life, but I’m not a fan of sand. I much prefer and ‘Irish’ green. My new home provides the luxury of both!

In the rush to move my Second Life home yesterday, I didn’t really have time to make a new post. On Saturday, I posted a review on English Rain, the new skin from Siss Boom, which has turned out to be my most popular post of all time! I did not include a picture for the makeup layer in that post due to some technical difficulties, but I have taken a picture of it and would love for all of my readers to see how beautiful it is! New @ TRUTH

I was extremely pleased with the new releases from TURTH today. Cady is a long style that is draped over the left shoulder with bangs swished to the side. Kitty is a mid-length style with fabulous curls; this hair could possibly be my very favorite from TRUTH. It is so playful and has so much volume! Mischa is also a long style that has hair draped over the right should as well has hair covering the entire back of your ava. A new male design was also released today.

Fall Courds @ BOOM

I have always loved the look and feel of corduroy in the fall; it seems to simply fit with all of the textures found in nature. *BOOM* released a beautiful pair of corduroy shorts this past weekend titled Fall Courds. These shorts are a "Bermuda style" length with two different leg styles in two shade options each, giving you four different options for your look! The first style is a wider leg option with the choice between a deeper and lighter cuff color. The second style is a more slender leg option also with the choice between a deeper or lighter cuff color. Twelve different colors are available in both a female and male style.

Sway's Winter

New winter items have arrived at Sway's just in time for the beginning of snow season! I have never been able to knit in real life, but now I can in my Second Life! Sway's released an adorable rocking chair (12 prims), titled Emma, with a yarn basket (11 prims) and wearable knitting needles. The rocking chair features four poses, one animation and ten color options for the cushion. Color change options are also available in the knitting pattern attached to the wearable knitting needles. This set is a perfect addition to make your home feel warm and cozy!

Sway's also released warm clothing items! The Renata sweater is available in five colors, each having a different winter themed design on the front. This sweater also features a beautifully sculpted collar along with cuffs for the sleeves. The Stella Hoody is a stripped sweater with an attached hood and sculpted cuffs. This adorable top is available in ten different colors.

A Winter Accessories set (hat, mittens and scarf) has also been released! This set is perfect for both male and female. The items are copy/modify, which easily allows you to adjust the size of the items to fit your avatar. Eight color options are available with this set.

Amacci @ Summer of Love Fair

The Summer of Love Fair has now opened and will remain open until August 8. Amacci is participating in the event and has included a fabulous jewelry set. Feelin' a Little Like Truth

Truth Hair released four amazing new styles today. Aradhana is an adorable curly updo with a color change ribbon hanging down over the shoulders; a color change script is included for the ribbon with twelve color options. Enix features a cute, curly pony over the left shoulder; both a solid color and a streaked color are included in the packs. Nora and Nora 2 both feature a long pony attached low on the back of the head; Nora 2 includes a hat with color change options (nine options for the hat and six options for the cord).
