Early Paris

Of all the Fashion Fest 2010 SIMs, Early Paris was probably my favorite. The designer did an amazing job; the layout was very easy to follow and the buildings and decorations were beautiful. While I was there, I picked up five Relay for Life items! Designers include Salt, Amacci, Black&Blue Outfitters, Cherry and SD Wears.

1957 Philadelphia

My fourth stroll through history landed me in 1957 Philadelphia at Fashion Fest 2010. I really loved walking through this SIM. The layout was very simple, and the shops were easy to access. While I was there, I picked up three outfits that were created to help raise money for Relay for Life, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for cancer. The first outfit was an adorable boho dress from Toxic for a L$200 donation.

I absolutely love a cute summer dress, and I found just that with 1-800-Bettie's! This sweet dress features a halter top, a floral design at the bottom and cute ruffles peaking out from under the dress. This dress is avaiable for a donation of L$150.

Renaissance

In my third installment of Fashion Fest 2010 coverage, we are traveling to the Renaissance. This time in history is best know for the works of art that were produced. For the first time, realism was being incorporated. Just as you could find great pieces of art in the 14th to 17th centuries, you can also find great pieces of art on the Renaissance SIM! While I was there, I picked up two dresses, a short, sheer dress from Bliss Couture and a stunning ball gown from Bellissima. The poses used were also picked up on the SIM from Estetica. All proceeds from these items will be donated to Relay for Life to help in the fight against cancer.

Fashion Fest continues and today I am featuring the Prehistoria SIM. This adorable SIM has been designed to look like you are walking with dinosaurs! I always wondered what it would be like... I guess now I know! As with my first Fashion Fest post, the link below will take you to a landing point on the SIM. Angelwing, a newly discovered designer to me who specializes in medieval and fantasy wear, is offering an adorable dress to help raise money for Relay for Life. Blue Maiden features a long bright blue and white skirt with a gold chain belt and gold embellishments. To receive this dress requires a donation of L$200 with all proceeds being donated to Relay for Life. Angelwing also has an adorable free gift, Anakarina, set out for customers.

California Gold Rush

Fashion Fest 2010 has begun, and Second Life content creators have come together to bring you fabulous items and to help raise money for Relay for Life, an organization dedicated to winning the battle against cancer. Over several posts I will bring you highlights from these creators, taking one SIM out of the nine total at a time. The following landmark will take you to a landing point on the California Gold Rush SIM; to get to specific stores, use the teleporters provided. Main store landmarks are provided below.

☆★ California Gold Rush SIM ★☆

The California Gold Rush SIM has been decorated to represent the Wild West. A Touch of Ireland, the SIM sponsor, has two items available to help raise money for RFL. One of these items, Gold Rush, fits in perfectly with the SIM! The western design features a long, brown plaid skirt accompanied with a ruffled white shirt, matching collar and adorable brown hat (not pictured). This item is available for a donation of L$300 with all proceeds going to cancer research. The Touch of Ireland shop is adorable in itself, and even if western wear is not your thing, you should stop in and see it! The designer, AliciaKay Kilara, has built a gold mine for the gold rush with jewels for you inside! It really is a must see.
