My New Trousers

Siss Boom Mesh

Siss Boom released a new pair of mesh trousers trousers today that are simply stunning. The pants have a very loose look with a pressed crease down the legs. This definitely gives them a dressy casual feel which I absolutely love. Your purchase includes five sizes and an alpha layer. There are nineteen colors/textures to choose from; two of these are on sale for L$100 for a twenty-four hour period only! The regular price of the pants are L$190 each which is a very reasonable price... especially for quality mesh.

The top I matched with the pants is an 'old' JANE cardigan and undershirt. The undershirt may just be my new favorite; I have had the free JANE Intrinsic Tanks forever and wear them often, but the Femme Lace Camis are very soft and elegant. The lace adds an extra touch of class. I have several shirts like this in real life and wear them as undershirts on almost a daily basis. Each color pack costs L$50 each, or you can purchase the entire fatpack for L$250.

Week 13 of 52 Weeks of Color - Tea Green

52WoCC - Tea Green

I absolutely love the color for this week's challenge, and I knew exactly what I would be wearing when I saw JANE's new mesh releases this week. The Easy Day Trousers are spectacularly designed. I have come to expect high quality from this designer; so, it wasn't much of a surprise. They are a very loose fitting style of pants... very free flowing and easy. I would love to have a pair of this style in my real life wardrobe! The pants are available in several colors and come in standard sizing.

To match the pants, I added the also new from JANE Dandy Tank. I really love the style of this top. It looks very comfortable and cool for summer, yet it has a high enough scoop to still feel classy. This shirt is available in six textures (three of those under a different tank name) and also comes in standard sizing.

A New Look

coldLogic Combo

I hadn't originally planned to post this photo on my personal fashion blog, but I ended up loving it so much that I had to! We are redoing the Staff Page at SeraphimSL, and this is the photo that I took for the redesign. The quality of mesh at coldLogic is absolutely amazing. Although I haven't purchased an extreme amount of pieces, I do indeed completely love all of the ones I have. I think that a comment I received while checking out sales for SeraphimSL this morning says it all... "that (on you) is one of the best outfits I've seen in sl ever." I couldn't agree more with her! The realistic movement and gorgeous texturing of the jacket and the shirt is enough to make anyone drool!

Although you cannot see much of my pants, I am wearing the Easy Day Trousers in tan by JANE. The combination makes a really lovely outfit. I will be wearing another color of these pants tomorrow in my 52 Weeks of Color post with a full length picture; be sure to keep a lookout!

Jane's French Château

Jane's French Château

I am completely enjoying the unseasonably warm weather we are having where I live, and I am also completely loving all the new spring items by designers in Second Life! JANE released quite a few colorful mesh items yesterday, and if you follow my blog at all, you should already know how much I love her pieces. The Dabs Skirt is just one of the new designs out; it is available in three colors and comes in standard sizing. The shirt I am wearing is an older JANE style, but it matches so perfectly with the green dots in the skirt. Even though the shirt is not mesh, I love how the system layer provides a 'tucked in' look for the outfit.  I will also be blogging more of JANE's new releases this weekend with my 52 Weeks of Color post; so, be on the lookout!

If you are a lover of poses, you will probably be happy to know that Glitterati is having a 100L pose sale through the end of Pose Fair 2012. I know that the Pose Fair begins April 15th, but I'm not completely sure when it ends. Nonetheless, take advantage of this great sale! Glitterati has some of the best poses that I have come across in Second Life. They are extremely easy to use and very versatile.

Happy Spring!!

Brianna

I have completely been loving the new Brianna skin by Izzie's... if you couldn't tell by my last two posts! This skin has such a pretty texture with lovely shading and highlighting.  It also comes with a ton of options for a very reasonable price!

Izzie's Brianna Skin Tones

The Brianna skin is available in seven skin tones (caramel is also an option but not photoed). I especially love that there is a red head option available; too many skin designers do not offer this option. My personal favorite for my ava is of course the pale tone. I have to match my real life translucent self! Lol

Izzie's Brianna Eyeshadows

Ten eyeshadow tattoos come with your purchase. I really love all the options this gives you when styling your outfit. I wore two of the shades (blue and black) in my previous post to give it a very dramatic look.

Izzie's Brianna Lipsticks

Ten lipsticks tattoos also accompany your purchase. The number of options for your eyes and lips make this such a fantastic buy. My personal favorite color is pink! I can't help it... I'm just too much of a girly girl I suppose.

So, how much will one of these fantastic packs cost you? Each pack, except for the red option, is L$990 and includes all eyeshadows, all lipsticks and freckle/no freckle and cleavage/ no cleavage options. The red option is slightly less at $L790; I am assuming this is because you do not have the no freckles option. All of the eyeshadows and lipsticks are included with the red pack as well as the cleavage/no cleavage option. Additional eyeshadow and lipstick packs are available at L$180 each.

Week 12 of 52 Weeks of Color - St. Patrick's Blue

52WoCC - St. Patrick's Blue

I really loved the color for this week's challenge. St. Patrick's Blue is such a beautiful shade... almost boarding on a vibrant purple. This challenge has truly made me search for colors that I would not typically add to my inventory. I always seem to purchase the pink products!

I grabbed the Gathered Frills Blouse at the new store opening of Mon Tissu. I'm not sure if this is actually a new product, but the color was almost perfect, and it has that look of dressy casual that I simply love. It isn't a mesh top, but the prim pieces are very easy to edit and move beautifully with the avatar.

I finally purchased my first mesh hair from Wasabi Pills! Sybille 2 is a very sexy and classy style. The hair is completely wrapped around to the front of the avatar so that no hair hangs down in the back. I do wish that there was a bit hanging back there, but the hair is perfect for those pictures that you really want to dress up without having to do a whole lot!

Week 11 of 52 Weeks of Color - Aquamarine

52WoCC - Aquamarine

I cannot believe that it has been two weeks since my last post!  Life seems to sneak up on you so quickly that it is sometimes hard to catch your breath, and being sick never helps!  Thankfully I am over it now.

The outfit I am wearing is by Nylon Outfitters and is available now at Collabor88.  I was actually surprised that I liked it so well since I typically detest system skirts and now prefer mesh over prim pieces.  The two fit so well together and move so beautifully with the avatar that I really don't mind that it isn't mesh!  The outfit comes in three colors and is only 88L each.  Can't beat pretty and cheap!

The very cute guitar prop by {u.f.o} is also available at Collabor88.  Four different versions are available, and they all contain playing animations and three songs.  The guitar contains scripts for resizing which makes it very easy to customize to fit your avatar.  It really is an adorable piece, and I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys relaxing music.

The skin and makeup I am wearing is a new line from Izzie's.  Brianna is very well made with lovely shadings and highlights.  I full review of this skin will be coming soon; so, be sure to look for it!

Vanessa Goes to the Circus

Circus

I had full intentions of posting the blog for these amazing new releases by The Secret Store and Filthy Skins a few days ago, but with having to dodge tornadoes, they had to wait a few more days!

Circus is currently being offered by The Secret store at EPOCH; four versions of this adorable outfit are available. The jacket is a mesh piece; so, please try the demo before you purchase. The mesh pieces do come in standard sizing. The top hat is included with your purchase as well as socks and a garter. The event will be open through March 11th.

Vanessa Cream

Vanessa Peach

Vanessa is the newest skin by Filthy and is available in two tones: cream (top) and peach (bottom). I'm not sure if the skin tones are new or simply renamed, but I do know that I absolutely love cream; it has a very soft and sophisticated look. Eight makeups are included with each tone as well as a shape (not pictured). No edits were done to the bottom two pictures showcasing the makeup choices other than cropping so that you get a true depiction of what the skins look like. The top picture has been edited to smooth angles in body shape as well as to soften the overall look of the picture.

Week 10 of 52 Weeks of Color - Avocado

52WoCC - Avocado

I feel so very fortunate to be able to make this post tonight. Living in the Appalachian Mountains in Southern West Virginia near the Kentucky/Ohio border in my real life, the place I have always called home doesn't really receive any extremely severe weather such as tornadoes or hurricanes... until yesterday that is. We have had the occasional threat for a tornado (once every five years perhaps) which never develops, but I never remember (and neither does my mother) having an outbreak of actual tornadoes especially those reaching EF3. After getting married last fall, I moved an hour away from the place I had lived for nearly twenty-six years. I was keeping an eye on the ongoing weather coverage and saw the tornado symbol pop up over a town a mere ten minutes from my mother's house. The symbol stayed there for what felt like an eternity. The entire area was covered in 'radar red' rains which continued for well over an hour; the area had already been saturated with heavy rainstorms just two days previously. I couldn't reach my mother who I thought was home alone at the time; actually, one of my sisters and her boyfriend had returned home when the weather started to get bad. Electric outages are very common in the rural areas of West Virginia during storms since there are so many trees. I just kept imagining my mother's house crumbling with her alone inside and none of the neighbors being able to see what had happened because without electricity it would have been completely dark. As soon as all the severe weather passed where I lived, my husband and I went to check on my mother who was thankfully safe and sound with my sisters. But, the small town ten minutes away was not so fortunate; I have never seen the scale of total destruction in this area before. Thousands of trees were flattened or snapped in half while people's homes were left in shambles. I hadn't been able to see the destruction when I had driven by the area the night before since there was no power and you could only see what was immediately in front of your vehicle. My heart is so broken for all the people affected.

The outfit I am wearing from my post is one of the new outfits by JANE being offered at the March Mesh Madness event. I love that the color is actually titled 'avocado.' I do believe this is the only outfit that I have worn for this entire challenge with the real name the actual color of the week's challenge color. The dress is very beautifully made, but I have come to expect this from JANE even before the introduction of MESH. There are a lot of other really beautiful designs being offered at the fair; I just wish I had more money to spend on them!

The hair I am wearing is such a sassy design from Shag who is participating in this week's round of Project Themeory. Two packs are available at only $L75 each; anyone who has purchased hair in Second Life knows that this is a great price! I absolutely love the extreme volume this hair features; it is definitely a statement piece!
