Juicy

Looking for a bold, new skin? If so, CandyDoll’s new release, titled Juicy, is just for you! Six luscious designs are included with this new line. I love that one makeup is a very clean, natural look; it is perfect for the tattoo makeups we all love playing with! The eye shadows that come with this skin line are absolutely beautiful. With the exception of the Natural skin, they are most definitely not subtle. The skin is available in four tones which include pale, tan, tanned and dark; each makeup in one tone is L$700. A fatpack is also available for all makeups of each tone at L$2,500. What I especially love about the fatpack is that it includes a tattoo layer of all the lip options! So, if you aren’t digging that color combo for the outfit you are wearing, just apply the tattoo lip layer from another skin! Problem solved! Demos are available for all tones and all makeup options at L$0.

Final Hours @ CHIC Limited

Today is the last day of the first round of items at CHIC Limited. The goal of this monthly event is to introduce Second Life residents to amazing designers; what I particularly love is that enrollment is not restricted to the already very famous in Second Life. Each month, a new selection of at least twenty designers will place an item out to be featured. The item is not a discount item and it’s not a limited item that is ridiculously expensive; prices are set at normal retail prices.

Photobucket

I really should use props more often in my photographs. This amazing chair is the item offered by aDORKable Poses who is most definitely one of my favorite pose designers in Second Life. If you follow my blog often, you know that I use her Pencil and Poofy sets quite often. They are so perfect for many of the designs I wear! The Brazen Hussy Chair will be out at CHIC Limited for the remainder of the day; it contains five poses, and it also contains a texture change script for the cushion. Also, the chair is modifiable which allows you to change the color of the rest of the chair! I decided to leave it as is because the purple is simply beautiful! If you aren’t able to make it to CHIC Limited today… No worries!! This beautiful prop will be out at the new aDORKable Poses main store after the event. Oooo and btw… There is an absolutely adorable FREE pose bench out at aDORKable Poses right now!! ;-)

The shoes I am wearing are also a CHIC Limited item by G Field. Although they are not seen in the photograph, the shoes contain a beautiful flower attached to the side. They have the ability to be turned on and off, and since the flower looked odd with the pose, I turned them off. These shoes are Viewer 2 friendly as well as friendly for other viewers of Second Life. At first I was a little confused why an alpha layer was included in the box if the shoes themselves contained an invisiprim, but all confusion was cleared when I actually clicked the shoes. The invisiprim has a turn on/turn off option just like the flower! Options also exist for flower color and sole color. These shoes are absolutely beautiful. The color change pair I am wearing is available for L$220; a white color change option is also available. Six single color shoes are available for purchase for L$190 each; these also contain the on/off option for the flower. If you don’t want just one pair, you can purchase the entire all color pack for L$1900.

Week 13 of 52 Weeks of Color - Emerald

When I think of emerald, I think of a deep, rich green and not so much the mild green proposed on Luna Jubilee’s 52 Weeks of Color. But, like so many other colors in this challenge, I suppose emerald has its various shades as well.

Photobucket

Although I have never blogged The Secret Store before, I have most definitely admired the designs of Maylee Oh since I first noticed her on the fashion feeds a month or so ago. Her sculpts are beautiful and the textures are breathtaking. The skirt I am wearing, titled Chiffon in Silk Kerchief, is a special currently available at The Dressing Room Blue where The Secret Store is appearing as the guest. Personally, I believe Maylee should be a permanent fixture at TDR! Who doesn’t love getting fabulous clothing at a discount?!

My shirt is actually part of a dress by Siss Boom who is now placing out designs each week to correspond to the theme for 52 Weeks of Color. Writing on the Wall was Lestat Reuven’s contribution to taupe, and honestly, I feel that this taupe is more ‘taupish’ than the color swatch on Luna’s blog. Once again, so many shades are available! I’m too OCD for this… Why can’t there just be one shade of each color?! ROFL But, then I suppose all we would be left with are primary and secondary colors; that seems a bit boring.

The pose I am rocking is by Luna Jubilee herself! Through January 31st, all six pose packs have been marked down to L$100. Luna is running out of wall space and having a major sale before she sends all her smaller packs to the Marketplace. All future packs sold in store will contain ten poses each. I used Wake Me Up 7 (Extra Curvy) in the photo above which is included in one of Luna’s new pose packs. Luna’s poses are so versatile and can be used with so many different outfit types. If you have never visited !bang, you should definitely stop by! … And especially since there is a sale!! Hehe ;-)

Bella

My ava is a little more excited about the prospect of snow tomorrow than the real life me. We have been hammered with snow for nearly two months now. Spring seems so far away; perhaps I should relocate to a tropical climate.

Photobucket

I have new clothing and relatively new hair for you today! I am so in love with the new Bella outfit from JANE. The adorable, poofy lace shorts are so feminine; I wish I had a pair in real life! The Bella shirt is so adorable as well; it has a very comfortable look to it which is achieved by the prim pieces that give it a loose look instead of being a more fitted sweater. My only disappointment is that resize scripts are not included in the prim pieces; they are, however, modifiable which allowed me to insert my own resize scripts since I’m horrible at manually resizing. The bow tied scarves and cableknit tights are new additions to the Needful Things and Lil’ Piggies lines respectfully. Ten color packs are available which contain multiple shades of that color in each pack. For a very limited time, you can purchase the greedy packs of each for only L$50. This was only supposed to be a one day special, but it has been up for several days now. Hurry and get them before they are set to regular prices!

The hair I am wearing was newly released from LeLutka a little over a week or so ago. Three different styles were released on the same day. Scarab is a long style tied back by a beautiful texture change scarf; six colors are included in the scarf for you different styling needs. Lohan is also another long style; I love how the long bangs drape down in the face. It is a very sexy and chic style. Finally, Charlize is an elegant pulled back style that is tucked tightly into the hair in the back. It is most definitely perfect for any formal, or casual for that matter, event you may be attending in the future.

Filthy

Yesterday I brought you the amazing Nala BubbleGum skin from Filthy Skins being offered at Chic Boutique, and today I bring you the entire Nala line… plus another, titled Belle! I am absolutely loving this new discovery. Filthy Skins’ designs are very artistic while still offering realism in the creations. Random freckles and moles placed throughout the bodies help to supply that realism. The shading and highlighting is absolutely beautiful. Have I mentioned that I love the lips and eyes before? Just for good measure, I will again! All skins are offered in three tones: pale, tan and dark. Individual skins are available for L$900 each or L$3500 per tone fatpack. Demos are available for L$1. Don’t forget, the BubbleGum skin is currently on sale in all three tones for only L$90 at Chic Boutique. A shape and cleavage enhancer is included with all purchases!

Photobucket

So, what am I wearing today? None other than Gloss by Siss Boom. In case you haven’t caught on by now, which I’m sure you have (lol), Siss Boom puts out new specials on almost a daily basis. Typically, two new outfits will be offered for only L$100 for the first 24 hours. Normal prices start around L$400; you truly cannot beat 75% off on new releases DAILY. Seriously… I’m sure you can count on one hand the number of designers who offer such a great discount.

On another note, Siss Boom has relocated!!

Chic Boutique

Another discount store has popped up, and I must say, I’m really enjoying all the discounts designers have been putting out. With a horrible real life economy, it is really a help in keeping my ava fashionable in my second life.

Photobucket

One of the designers featured at Chic Boutique is Siss Boom. If you think Lestat Reuven’s L$100 specials are amazing, you are going to be completely ecstatic when you hear that the special offered at Chic Boutique is only L$65! Collage is an adorable jean and shirt combo which features an off the shoulder top with cute rips in the fabric and a washed out texture for the boot cut pants. The cuffs of the pants feature an under layer which shows in the back underneath an adorable little bow.

Photobucket

It is inevitable that you will discover new stores when you visit discount shops, but that is half the point, right? My favorite new find from Chic Boutique would definitely have to be Filthy Skins. I know… interesting name. I am completely impressed with the quality of skins offered by this designer. The highlighting and shading is beautiful, the eyelid color is to die for and the lips are so scrumptious! For only L$90, you get three tones of the Nala BubbleGum skin (pale, tan and dark). I took the liberty of going to check out their main store location for you, and found that single makeups are valued at L$900 each which would place the value of the pack offered at Chic Boutique at L$2700. This is an absolute no brainer… you get L$2700 worth of skin for only L$90. Yes, please!

Photobucket

The poses I am using are from one of the new sets available at !bang. I told you I would be using them this week. ;-) The Second the Motion pack is so versatile and can be used with so many different fashion designs. If you are looking for a random pose pack, !bang has set out a six pose pack consisting of one pose from each of the last six packs released for Lazy Sunday! You can pick up this pack for only L$75 until tomorrow!

Fantabulous Sales? ... Don't Mind if I Do!

It has already been a weekend of great sales, and it is only Saturday! I honestly don’t think that I could ever have enough poses in my inventory. Every time I get a notecard about new releases or a fantabulous sale, I go running! Bang gives us the best of both this weekend with two new releases as well as an awesome sale. Just Shut Up and Second the Motion are two pose packs released today; I will be using these poses in the coming week. The pose used below is from a pack released about two weeks ago titled Knee High Fashion. As the name suggests, these poses are designed to show off all the knee highs and/or socks that you collect in your second life! Pose #5 simply looked too adorable with my socks from JANE; so, of course I had to use it! Packs of ten poses are available at !bang for L$200 or L$35 per pose.

Photobucket

Aaaahhhh, yes!! That does say that !bang is having a sale, and a very good one at that. Luna Jubilee is running out of space to display all of her awesome poses. So, she is clearing out some space and offering some really great deals in the process. Until January 31st, you can purchase all six pose packs for L$100 each or L$35 per pose. Let’s see… L$35 x 6 poses = L$210… You are getting over half off during this sale!! Hurry… run quick! After the sale, these poses will only be available on the marketplace.

Photobucket

After a month or so of silence, JANE finally released a new outfit this past week, and oh my, is it adorable! Melody features a cute flared out dress with a sweet flared cardigan to match. And, what better to go under them but an adorable pair of stripped socks! The Melody dress is available in three colors (fawn, navy and raven) at L$150 each or L$295 for the greedy pack; the Melody cardigan is also available in three colors (cherry, golden and salmon) at L$100 or L$195 for the greedy pack. The Little Piggies Stripped Tights come in three shades each of blacks/grays, blues, browns, greens, oranges, pinks, purples, reds, whites/creams and yellows at L$50; a special is currently out, which is sure not to last much longer, where all colors and shades are available in a greedy pack for L$50!

Photobucket

JANE is also having a sale!! I told you is has been a weekend of great sales! Through this weekend only, everything has been reduced by 50%, including single colors and greedy packs. The only items excluded from this sale are new releases, Needful Things and Little Piggies Socks and Tights. I caught the 50% off sale from JANE last November, and I absolutely loved everything I bought (which was quite a lot, mind you). Her items are extremely well made and absolutely adorable. If you have never visited JANE, now is the perfect time to do so!

Week 12 of 52 Weeks of Color - Taupe

Taupe is a very earthy brown which reminds me of being covered with nutrient rich soil as a child. When I was little, I spent my summers at my grandparents’ house while my mother was working. My grandfather always raised a garden, and for some reason, there was just something special about his boots. I found the Wo Boots by Zero Number quite a few months ago, and it is amazing at how much they look like my grandfather’s boots. I realize only the top portion of the boots is showing, but each boot comes in two pieces, and the pose found in the seat was just not ‘two piece boot’ friendly. Lol

Photobucket

The shirt I am wearing is the top portion of the special released yesterday by Siss Boom, titled Earth. As luck would have it, it was just the right shade of taupe for the Color Challenge this week. My pants are also from the creator of Siss Boom; however, they were designed when Lestat Reuven’s store was titled Wondrous Strange. The pants are part of an outfit titled Gentle Brocade which is still available in the Siss Boom store. It is honestly one of my very favorite designs by Lestat.

LoQ released a special pack of hair as a group gift this past week in their Tiramisu style. The pack includes four colors of the hair piece as well as the hairbases. The hair was not a perfect fit for me, but thankfully LoQ hairs are modifiable which allowed me to insert my own resize script. I honestly am horrible at manually resizing. If you have difficulty resizing as well, search for resizing scripts on the marketplace. There are some very easy to use, premade scripts available for purchase.

Swedish

I was so excited when I saw the new skin line from Siss Boom yesterday. Swedish is a softer type skin, as expected from the name. As promised, I took pics in all makeups of the three available tones: spectral (light), ecru (medium) and stygian (tan). The names of the tones really interested me, and being a teacher and a lover of reading, I had to look them up.

Spectral: of, relating to, or suggesting a specter: ghostly
Ecru: beige
Stygian: 1 – of or relating to the river Styx; 2 – extremely dark, gloomy, or forbidding

The names make perfect sense after you understand the meaning behind the words! Four versions are offered with each skin tone: one basic and three makeups. The makeups are not a tattoo layer but a full skin layer instead. If you are tired of trying to mix and match eye shadows, lipsticks, blush, mascara and lashes, these skins would be perfect for you! Swedish is available for L$999 per each makeup or L$1,999 for a single tone fatpack. The shape I am wearing is also included with your purchase as well as a set of silvery/gray eyes (not shown). All versions are copy/no modify/no transfer. Free demos are available; please try these before you decide to make a purchase because refunds are not possible. I’m sure you won’t want a refund once you try them, but just in case!

Hint

It has been a very busy and a very crazy week to say the least. When real life takes hold, it really gets a good grip! I have been having a bit of a photographer’s block this evening and didn’t get to take as many pictures as I would have liked; so, that means you get more posts from me on the new releases from Siss Boom tomorrow! Yay! Hehe

Photobucket

A breathtaking dress and an absolutely gorgeous new skin line were released from Siss Boom today. Tomorrow I will be posting a full review of Swedish Essential, but I could not go to bed tonight before I gave you a look at Hint which is available now at the special price of only L$100. You know me; I seriously cannot pass up a poofy gown to save my life… especially if that poofy gown is absolutely, beyond belief stunning. Lestat Reuven has most definitely delivered with the creation of Hint. The flexi skirt features a huge poof out design in the back which makes this dress perfect for any formal event, perhaps even that wedding you may be planning in the very near future. I married my real life boyfriend in Second Life when we were only a week or so rezzed. It was a very small ceremony consisting of only the two of us. LOL Maybe we need to renew our vows just so I can show off this dress! The dress also features a fantastically designed, humongous bow in the back. The loops of the bow are designed to look like flower petals which gives the gown a very soft and feminine feel. An adorable ruffle is also attached to the chest of the dress.

The skin I am wearing is the Stygian tone of the new Swedish Essential skin line. As mentioned before, I will be giving a full review on this skin tomorrow. One makeup in the Spectral tone is currently available at Siss Boom for only L$100, but this price will also disappear when new releases are available tomorrow. If you have never tried Siss Boom skins, this is the perfect opportunity for you to do so!

Notorious

There isn’t much that could have made the start of my week better than brilliant jewelry and an amazingly sexy dress. Ok… I’ve had the dress tucked away in my inventory for awhile, but as soon as I saw Le Fleur by Aglaia, I knew the combination would be to die for!

Photobucket

I’m not usually one for system skirt dresses, but I simply could not help myself with Notorious by Siss Boom. The problem I typically have with these types of dresses is that most do not feature a texture which lines up evenly on the top portion and the skirt portion of the dress. I understand the difficulty in accomplishing such a feat in Second Life, but the perfectionist side of me just cannot get over the fact. The texture, as with all other Lestat Reuven designs, featured on Notorious is so soft and elegant and lines up beautifully. Poofy prims attach to each leg giving it a mermaid look at the bottom; a sculpted prim attachment is also included for the back of the dress which gives a little poof look on your hinny. This dress is so stunning and would be a great addition to any wardrobe.

Photobucket

I absolutely love jewelry that stands out and makes a statement. That is exactly what you get with Le Fleur by Aglaia. This chocker type necklace features large gems which are attached at perpendicular angles to create the ‘chain’ of the necklace. A beautifully sculpted abstract design is displayed on the front of the necklace which gives even this very bold piece a fragile, elegant feel. Large gem earrings are included with your purchase to match the gems featured on the necklace.  At only L$150, this set is a definite must have!

Feelin' a Little Sassy

Sometimes I feel like being a little sassy. After all, that is what my nephew nicknamed me when he first began speaking. ;-) Hehe...  I have really been loving grayscale outfits lately…

Photobucket

I have a mixture of brands for you today. =)

Le Fashions has two new releases out this week. The Argyle Sweater is a shorter type sweater that looks fantastic with an undershirt (or as is if that is your thing). As its name suggests, the sweater features an argyle pattern on the front with solid colored sleeves. Six color combinations with gray are available for purchase including black and plum, cocoa, deep red, electric blue, gray (featured above) and hunter green for L$75 each. To accompany the Argyle Sweater, Le Fashions has also released an adorable pair of corduroy pants; honestly, who ever has enough corduroy pants in their inventory? I know I don’t. Colors available include cocoa, deep red, dove gray (featured above), electric blue, hunter green and plum at L$75 each.

Although no longer available at The Dressing Room, the undershirt and eye makeup (Tattoo Layer 05) I am wearing were the New Year’s Special by Glam Affair. The shirt is part of a dress type outfit titled Marta that looks beautiful even on its own. I’m not certain if these items are available at Glam Affair’s main store location; but if you love the texturing of the shirt as I do, it is definitely worth a shot to look around!

I always love discovering new jewelry stores!! Jewelry is as important in my second life as it is in my real life. Accessories most definitely add that extra special touch to the perfect outfit. The Ynez set is a new design by ByKay. The chunky design and straight lining give this set an independent yet very feminine feel. Although only the earrings are featured above, you also receive a necklace, a bracelet, a ring without nails and three rings with nails (nails color change via hud). All pieces include a size change script which I personally love. I am not the greatest at manual resizing and always appreciate when designers include those scripts in their designs so that I don’t have to! All pieces are copy, no modify and no transfer. ByKay does have a shop set up in world; however, you cannot purchase the pieces there. The set is available on the marketplace for L$1,150.

I only recently began purchasing hair from booN. Before I began blogging, the style was a little too dramatic for what I was looking for. Now, I am all about drama! Well, in hair at least. The QPT129 (What a name, huh?) style is actually a design I may have also worn prior to blogging had it been out then. This updo features a very bold, yet elegant, front design with a simple pull up look in the back. It is definitely not too over the top to be wearing around as your everyday style in world. Three color packs are available at L$280 and fatpacks are available at L$980.

Finally, my boots (Oh, how I love them!!!) are by Mon Tissu, the love child by the designers of Surf Co. and Tres Blah. The Provence Riding boots feature an amazing texture, as I would expect from these amazing creators! Colors available include balck, caramel, chestnut, dark brown, gray and vintage red at L$350 per pair or L$1,785 for the fatpack. If you are a Mon Tissu VIP group member (L$1,000 joining cost), you can receive 25% off of the fatpack price by wearing your nametag which makes each pair of shoes approximately L$223 per pair! If you purchase a ridiculous amount of shoes like I do, the $1,000 joining fee for the VIP group will quickly pay for itself in savings.

Femininity

Femininity. That is what I thought of when I first saw the new release from Siss Boom yesterday. Light a Candle features a soft, elegant texture with beautifully layered ruffles. Sculpted attachments are included for the arms, the spine (neck piece) and the pelvis. A flexi skirt is also included as an under layer to the short, ruffled skirt. This gorgeous dress is available at Siss Boom for the introductory price of L$100 which is sure to not last long. Go pick it up before new specials are released and the price goes up!

Week 11 of 52 Weeks of Color - Indigo

Indigo is the perfect color for how I have been feeling lately. Well, sort of anyway. Indigo is a purplish blue that, of course, exists in several shades. I have definitely been feeling a little blue. Maybe not so much purple, though. Lol ;-)

Photobucket

The outfit I am wearing is actually not that new, and it has been blogged many times before in this color challenge I’m sure. But, I couldn’t help myself. Since I first saw the Love Me Skirt by BOOM, I was in love! It is so sweet and elegant. I like elegance and modesty in both my real life and my second life. After all, my second life truly is a reflection of my real life. There isn’t much difference. The Love Me skirt features a main skirt and two smaller prim pieces attached to each leg to give an underskirt type look. It’s so adorable, and at L$75, you really cannot go wrong.

The top I am wearing is also from BOOM. I love the texture on the 4 Warmth Thermal; the shading and highlighting are beautiful and give a nice depth to your ava. This shirt is very versatile; I couldn’t tell you how many outfits I have paired it with. Even better, it comes in a lot of fantastic colors!

My fab-u-lous boots are from Azoury. If you have never heard of them, please check out my post from yesterday. I’m still in utter shock that these boots, and all shoes at Azoury, are only L$99. They are most definitely worth a lot more, but I’m not complaining about the Lindens saved!! More boots for me!

My earrings are the newest addition to The Dressing Room from Glow Studio. A new collection was placed out today; I didn’t have a lot of time to look through everything, but I saw these adorable earrings for only L$45 and knew I had to have them for this outfit. I will most likely be going back later and blogging more items from the collection.

My skin is a mixture of Isabel 01 by LAQ and Windchill Ocean Makeup by Siss Boom. The Isabel skin is honestly a very nice base for all those tattoos that have been popping up everywhere. I’m sure that most, if not all, of you have checked out LAQ skins, but how many of you have been to Siss Boom? Owner and designer Lestat Reuven is an extremely talented artist with an extremely kind heart. She is also very versatile, designing everything from clothing and skin to furniture and landscaping items. You really must check out her store! You won’t leave empty handed.

Azoury

With the increase in allowed group slots yesterday, I was able to join a couple groups which I wouldn’t have had room for otherwise. One of those groups lead to the discovery of a new to me store, and I am so excited to share it with you (even though I’m sure those of you who have been around longer than I have probably already know about it!).

Photobucket

Azoury is unique in that it offers complete outfits as well as separate pieces which allow you to mix and match colors. The complete outfits include both clothing and shoes! How fantastic is that? And, when I say shoes… I’m not talking about shoes which lack visual appeal as standalone pieces. The shoes found at Azoury are beautifully sculpted pieces of artwork with amazing textures.

So, how many Lindens will this cost you? Complete outfits start around L$300; if you want to purchase the shoes only, they cost L$99 per pair! My ava could have fallen over yesterday when I saw shoes with this amount of detail for only L$99. I do believe I have found shoe heaven!

It's a Party!

Every month, Lemania Indigo Designs hosts a L$1 hunt on her SIM. I remember always being excited for these events when I was only a few months old in Second Life, and to be honest… I still get excited to see what she puts out each month. The number of prizes varies from month to month; this month for the It’s a Party hunt, Lemania has placed fifteen gifts out for L$1 each with prizes including clothes, accessories, hair and furniture. Prizes #1 (Sunflower Hair Pin), #2 (Hollyhocks), #13 (Plinky Pink) and #15 (Paris Vacation) are featured below. The hunt runs through January 31st.

The Designer's Showcase

I love all the little shops that are popping up all over Second Life to introduce and promote various designers. The Designer’s Showcase is one of the latest of these special stores which offers clothing, shoes, accessories and even home items. Designers include the following: Butt-Err, DreamScape, Embody, Eshi Otawara, GLAM, Gypsys, Hanaya, Hatter is Mad, H.I.M. Fashions, HOC Industries, Hurrem, Instinct Inc., JoJo, La Petite Morte, Lemania Indigo Designs, Marret, MeKa, Mocha, Oddity, Riddle, Sasira, Smushyface, The Secret Store, Urf!Urf!, WorN, and Zibska.

Photobucket

Of course, Lemania Indigo Designs is not new to me, but when I stopped by the showroom today and saw her item, it excited me. The regular price for a Lemania design is L$400 and up; however, Ruby Tuesday is being offered at the Designer’s Showcase for the very low price of L$99. This dress is absolutely too adorable. It features beautiful purple and silver colors with a short sculpted skirt and a long flexi skirt. Shoes are also included with your purchase although they are not pictured below.

Photobucket

Thanks to my dear friend Tapika Tomsen, I was able to find the perfect piece of jewelry to go with my beautiful outfit from Lemania. Tapika introduced me to Alienbear’s Designs not too long ago, and I absolutely fell in love with the pieces offered. If you have never tried Alienbear’s, now is the perfect time to do so. Through the end of the month you can purchase jewelry at 50% off regular prices. I chose to wear the VernaRosa necklace and earrings; the necklace was just the right length for the very low cut top. The textures in the jewelry are absolutely beautiful, and the sizing was perfect as well (no adjustments needed for me). This is most definitely a designer I will be featuring more of in the future.

Fussy Finery

After a long Monday at work, it was nice to come home and see a new design that is so sweet and still very chic. Fussy Finery is the newest creation from Lestat Reuven, owner and designer of Siss Boom. This adorable dress features a sculpted skirt, sculpted sleeve cuffs and a sculpted scarf. I love the texture found on this dress! It’s such a soft pink; it speaks comfort to me. For a limited time, Fussy Finery will be available for L$100.

It seems as though I am constantly discovering new (to me) skin designers via The Dressing Room, and I absolutely love it! Natural Beauty, formerly Tik Tok, is the guest this week at The Dressing Room Blue and has including the Olga skin (tan) as a special for only L$60. This skin is absolutely stunning! I love the coloring on the eyes; the designer has added just enough darkening to make it pretty without completely over doing it. The color of the lips is perfect for me! It reminds me of my lips in real life; the color looks very natural with just a hint of gloss added.

Amacci is having a Winter Hair Sale through January 16th. All color packs (6 – 7 colors) have been reduced to L$85 per pack and all fatpacks have been reduced to L$295. Amacci has many styles including short, medium, long, braids, ponies, updos and even male styles. I am wearing Jessica in Mocha, an adorable updo featuring folds in the back and cute, swooshing bangs in the front. You don’t want to miss this sale!

Inspiration

Photobucket

The work week is nearly here again, but since I still have a few hours before I must return to my real life, I thought I could have at least a little more fun! I have never been to Asia nor have I ever done an Asian themed post, but the skin from MonS in The Dressing Room Blue inspired me to do something a bit different.

Photobucket

Since its opening, The Dressing Room has introduced me and many, many others to some of the best designers Second Life has to offer. The stunning dress I am wearing is from Baiastice. Well, if I wanted to be technical, the dress is actually a collaboration of the Alisha Top in black and the Balloon Silk Skirt in black, but they pieces go so well together that it could be mistaken for a dress. The top features a beautiful texture with outstanding highlighting and shading; I love the glittery, beaded texture included on the top of the shirt. The skirt features translucent prims ‘ballooning’ out from the base. This ensemble is available at The Dressing Room Blue for L$70.

Photobucket

I’m not entirely sure that the Enna Skin from MonS is indeed an Asian skin; actually, I’m almost positive that it isn’t since the eyebrows have a reddish tint. However, the slanting of the eyes and the swooshed out eyeliner made me think Asian. I love the lips on this skin! They are so vibrant and full of color. The lack of eye shadow on the eyelids makes this skin a perfect base for all of those shadow tattoos I am sure you are collecting by now. This skin is available at The Dressing Room Blue for L$70.

I absolutely love discovering new (to me) jewelry stores; what makes the experience even better is when the designer obviously has a lot of talent! The Stoned Set collection from Aglaia is a three stone necklace set on golden rings with smaller, purple gems on both the stones and the necklace portion. The set also includes large, gold earrings with the same purple stones, a wire type bracelet with a stone and gems attached and rings (not pictured) which feature each of the three stones on different fingers. For one week only, the entire set is available for L$150.

The Brownie hair from LoQ confused me a bit when I first put it on. This piece is another item that I picked up while vising The Dressing Room Blue. The poof, adorable pony and stray hairs sticking out rezzed on my head when I attached the hair but nothing rezzed on the sides. I waited a few minutes, suspecting lag to be the culprit, but still nothing rezzed. I then had a ‘DUH!!’ moment and looked back into the file. The hair included a tattoo hair base which makes up the sides of the hair instead of prims. I am not normally a fan of hair base tattoos, but this one blends so nicely; I am definitely impressed with it. This hair is available in a pack of four colors at The Dressing Room Blue for L$70.

Photobucket

Finally, but most certainly not least, are my amazing boots! Although Dilly Dolls specializes in doll clothing, the shoes offered by designer and owner Oriana Kuhr are extremely versatile and will go with many different styles of clothing. The Sonata Boots feature beautifully sculpted prims layered over each other. The metallic texture is beautiful and offers just enough highlighting and shading. These boots are Viewer 2 compatible only. The Sonata Boots are available in twenty-one colors of darks, lights and metallics for L$75 per pair or L$500 for the dark fatpack, L$500 for the light fatpack and L$300 for the metallic fatpack.

NEW @ LeLutka

It’s no secret that I love hair, and when I saw the new release from LeLutka… Let’s just say that it was love. ♥ It seems like I have been falling in love a lot lately, but what else can you expect when you are continuously exposed to such amazing designers?!

Photobucket

I absolutely adore the Keiko hair! I’m not one for short hair in real life (It just doesn’t match my face…), but with the versatility you are able to have with your ava in Second Life, it only makes sense to have multiple hair lengths for your various style needs. This hair features long bangs swooshed to the left side of the face and an adorable ‘curved in’ look near the bottom of the hair. Keiko is available in light and dark shades of blonde, brunette, red and grayscale for L$269 per a five color pack or L$1,152 per fatpack.

Photobucket

Seriously… Who doesn’t love an updo with an amazing poof?? The volume LeLutka gives us with the Pam style is very impressive. Now, if only I could get my hair to do this in real life, I would be set! Ha! This hair features a beautiful pony that is pulled around to the right side of your ava with a gorgeous wrap hairbow which is color change (black and brown). I absolutely love all of the random hair pieces that are sticking out at the edges; it gives the hair a much more natural and realistic look. Pam is available in light and dark shades of blonde, brunette, red and grayscale for L$269 per a five color pack or L$1,152 per fatpack.
