New @ Amacci

I'm back from vacation, but I honestly don't feel like it lasted long enough. It never does though. I so miss the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. I could hear them at night while I fell asleep; it was so amazingly relaxing and calming. I don't, however, miss having to shower fifty times a day to get all the sand off of me and still managing to find more on me later! I do believe that if I ever lived by the ocean I would just have a swimming pool so that I wouldn't have to worry about all the sand and the waves knocking me over! As long as I had the view and the sounds, I would be good.

Amacci released four fantastic hair styles this week. I absolutely love a good updo, and I was definitely not let down with Lara, Lena, Liana and the Hair Knot. Lara, Lena and Liana all three have a fabulous full pony in the back with a variation of bang styles in the front. Liana can be worn without the Amacci hair tattoo, but it looks better and more natural with it. The Hair Knot is so simple and elegant which is something that I absolutely love! Sure, a fancy updo that really stands out is nice sometimes, but occasionally a simple, pulled back bun is the most flattering style.

Vacation

I thought I should pop in to write a little note to let everyone know that I am on vacation and will be until Monday, August 9. I'm sitting here in my beach house watching the waves roll onto the shore as I type this. God is absolutely amazing! I hope that everyone has a fantastic week. =)

Show Me on the Doll @ Summer of Love Fair

The Summer of Love Fair continues with many amazing items for you to pick up by some of the best designers Second Life has to offer. I'm not usually a big fan of gothic/carnie/gloom fashion, but Show Me on the Doll has me hooked! Putrid Gloom's designs are indeed dark and sometimes even a bit creepy, but they are very versitile and beautiful in their own right... Yes, even those that are covered in blood! Putrid has definitely turned my curiosity in a direction I had never really been interested in before, and I cannot wait to see what she comes out with next!

New @ TRUTH

Truth Hair released four amazing styles yesterday. Christina and Christina 2 are both fun, long summer styles. There is a slight wave in the hair which gives it a very care free look. Christina includes a color change headband with a flower; each piece has an independent color change script with seventeen color options. Christian 2 features a braid in the place of the headband on Christina. Eric is technically a male hairstyle, but as you can see it also looks very spunky on a female! Julia is a great updo with a high setting pony and spiky pieces of hair. A streaked style is included with this hair along with a solid option; twenty-two color options are included with the streaks.

Peepers

I was aimlessly walking around the other day when I came across these amazing pair of glasses at Miel. I wear glasses in real life, but I had never thought to put them on my Second Life avatar. Really... What's the point? My character already has perfect vision! Haha... But, they looked so adorable in the vendor picture; so, I bought them anyway. I am definitely glad that I did! I may not need them for vision purposes, but these glasses are extremely sexy and very sophisticated. They also include a size change script and a color change script for the frames (12 colors), optional tape (12 colors) and lenses (12 gradient, 12 solid and clear) .
