Week 7 of 52 Weeks of Color - Cerise

Ok… So, I know that my picture isn’t even close to being mostly created from the color cerise, but that shade of pink is really hard to come by in Second Life! I was amazed that I did already have something in my inventory that color; unfortunately, it was old ETD hair. Don’t get me wrong, a few ETD styles that I have are still some of my favorites, but I am not necessarily a huge fan of pink hair. EEK!

The shirt that I am wearing is the upper portion of a dress, titled Roses Are Pink, by Lestat Reuven. I’m not sure exactly what the name of her store was at the time the dress was created. Her current shop, located on the Lemania SIM, is titled Siss Boom. Lestat has a very unique personality and enjoys changing things up quite often. However, through all the name changes and weekly (ok… sometimes monthly) building changes, her style has remained the same. Anytime I need a classy, elegant or casual look, I know that I will be able to find exactly what I am looking for among Lestat’s creations. She is one of my favorite designers in SL, if not possibly my number one favorite. She is an amazing person, and I absolutely love her to pieces!

I am actually wearing two pair of pants to create this look which is not possible without Viewer 2. The bottom layer of pants is the bottom portion to the Roses Are Pink dress by Lestat Reuven while the top layer is the Delirium Jeans in Coal by Miseria. I first brought you these jeans a few weeks ago, and the designer of Miseria was kind enough to send me the entire fatpack! It’s so difficult to find jeans that have a realistic texture and blend beautifully with the leg prim as well. Obviously, I am not wearing the leg prim in the picture above, but if you would like to see one of my previous posts with these jeans that the leg prim click here. A great pair of jeans, in real life or second life, is a must in any closet, and you most definitely cannot go wrong with these!

The boots I’m wearing, which I plan to do a full review on within the next couple of days, are one of the new releases from the newly created Mon Tissu shop by the designers of Surf Co. and Tres Blah. I have been looking forward to the opening on Mon Tissu since the announcement of the coming store was first released, and I am most definitely not disappointed with the quality of the items. The Provence Riding Boots are exquisitely made; you will be hard pressed to find another pair of boots of this quality for L$350. If you have not checked out Mon Tissu on the Lula SIM, I highly recommend that you do so. The design of the buildings and the surrounding land alone is worth a visit!
